Enable publishers to digitize and monetize on mobile devices
In this role, I pioneered the development of desktop tools and native mobile applications to enable traditional publishers to publish and monetize magazines on mobile devices.
My first two years were focused on content publishing tools. I optimized existing beta tools to make them more user friendly, then designed two new tools from the ground up resulting in a complete end-to-end content publishing experience for the customer. The tools enabled content management, user provisioning, app building, and account administration.
For following two years were focused on designing native mobile experiences for the end consumer. I was the lead designer for the v1 mobile content previewer and the Windows v1 tablet experience.
The reader experience was comprised of several reading experiences. To maintain experience parity across platforms, the design team collaborated closely on a comprehensive design system covering color, typography, UI elements, messaging, and brand for iOS, Android, Windows, and Web platforms.
